Minister Göktaş: We will lead our country towards the future with solid steps by preserving the family structure

Family and Social Services Minister Mahinur Özdemir Göktaş made a statement on the first meeting of the Population Policies Council on her social media account. Reminding that the meeting was chaired by Vice President Cevdet Yılmaz, Göktaş stated that they will work on a wide range of issues from the renewal level of the population to the fertility rate, from strengthening the institution of family to the needs of the young population. Emphasizing that they will address the population policies that will shape the future of Turkey with a holistic approach and develop proactive policies for demographic changes, Göktaş expressed her wishes for the Council's work to be beneficial. Minister Göktaş stated, "Under the leadership of our President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, we will support a strong and sustainable demographic structure, protect the institution of family, and lead our country towards the future with more solid steps."
